Aleisha has been working in the field of counselling for over 10 years and specializes in helping clients with complex cases. She uses both Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy to help her clients reach their goals. 
Through video and telephone counselling Aleisha offers flexible sessions of varying lengths. She sees both individuals and families, and also offers group social skills training for children and adults.

Individual Counselling

Help and support for a variety of conditions, including: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, self-harm, difficulty setting boundaries and establishing assertive communication, relationship challenges, lack of sense of self, health issues/chronic pain/chronic illnesses, career counselling, ADHD, ODD, and Autism.


Family Counselling

Family counselling with Aleisha focuses on improving family dynamics, communication, rules, and boundaries. Aleisha works with families to improve attachment functioning and family life satisfaction as well as helping families to understand what it means when a loved one receives a mental health diagnosis.


Group Counselling

Social skills training on a variety of topics for both children and adults. Groups require at least two clients to run. Please inquire to find out when the next group is running.

Meet Aleisha 

Aleisha has a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria, and is registered as a Canadian Certified Counsellor, or CCC, with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy association. For over 10 years, she has enjoyed working with children, teenagers, and adults. 

When she is not at work, Aleisha enjoys hiking, kayaking, and spending time her her rescue chihuahua, Hannah.
